16 Aug EasyHeat: Décor that Warms Your Room
I am really loving our new house and especially love all the light and sun that it lets in. However, at around 4pm every day, the chill sets in and I find myself shivering and layering hoodies – well that was until our new poster arrived.
Would you believe that a simple poster could heat a room? You best believe it because EasyHeat is making it a real thing!
EasyHeat is the first poster heater that you simply hang up and plug it in for quick and EasyHeat. The poster uses the most efficient infrared heating technology – just 300W – which warms you instead of the air around you.
We have always had a heater in the lounge, but after a few recent mishaps with the kids, I have started wondering just how safe it really is. Besides it being a magnet for little fingers, my kids love playing under the curtains or moving furniture around and it takes me turning my back for just a minute to miss that the curtain has been moved and is now sitting over the heater, posing a fire hazard. That’s why I like the EasyHeat. It is safe to touch and while you can feel the warmth, it is not enough to burn you and it is easy to hang up on the wall, so it is kept away from other objects that my kids might (read: will) move around.
I also don’t like traditional heaters because it dries out the air, which affects my skin and sinuses. I had started using a humidifier with the hope of adding moisture to the air, but I hated having so many things going at once. Thankfully, the EasyHeat does a great job of not drying the air while still managing to keep the climate comfortable.
Probably one of my favourite features – besides actually working and keeping my office warm – is that the EasyHeat adds a pop of colour and décor to any space but at the end of winter, it’s easy to roll up and pack away, making it convenient to store when you’re not using it. If I am being honest, I love the look of mine so much, that I don’t imagine packing it away because it adds just the right pop of colour to my office.
The EasyHeat is available in 10 different designs, with more launching very soon. They usually retail for R599, but Takealot currently has a deal where you get 20% off. Get yours here!

I can be bribed with chocolate and will never admit to having too much makeup – although, I probably do.
