20 Dec [CLOSED] Fragrances for Gifting
Tis the season for gifting and if you’re struggling to find a gift for that special someone, I have a treat for you! I always struggle with picking a perfume for friends or family as I feel fragrance is such a personal gift, but with a variety of new perfumes recently hitting shelves from Elizabeth Arden, it’s hard not to find the absolute perfect scent.
Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue Royale
Earlier this year, Elizabeth Arden introduced a new edition to their 5th Avenue range, this time being an oriental composition called 5th Avenue Royale, created for the woman who is captivated by New York City at night. The top notes feature a sweet hint of raspberry liqueur which melts into the seductive scent of patchouli, and at the base, you can expect to find the elegant scent of suede accord. Of course, such a classic and royal scent has to be dressed in an equally royal glass bottle which is black and decorated with gold detailing. The perfect gift for the queen in your life!
LE MIA PERLA
La Perla’s new scent La Mia Perla ranks in my top 3 fragrances launched this year and is a great gift for the fierce woman in your life, as the scent is a tribute to female beauty, power and strength. The fragrance exudes beauty, and femininity while the pearl represents power and intrigue. Unlike other fragrances, La Mia Perla has abandoned the classic fragrance pyramid structure and instead has chosen a circular composition – like a pearl – resulting in one rich symphony of scent, that is infinite and unchanging. Mandarin, white pepper and Jasmine Sambac are at the core, with a feminine and floral touch of white peonies, balanced out by the powerful scent of muskiness.
Viva La Juicy Glace’ Juicy Couture
Viva La Juicy Glace’ is a limited edition of the original Viva La Juicy and makes a great gift for someone who loves citrusy perfumes. It is a fresh, luminous and cool scent, perfect for spring days, and includes top notes of frozen mandarin, cassis leaves and pear sorbet. At the heart of the perfume, is jasmine and a fresh burst of orange blossom mixed with an unexpected warm vanilla, amber and milky sandalwood. Add a touch of iridescence to everyday life with Viva LA Juicy Glace’.
GIORGIO BEVERLY HILLS
Giorgio Gold from Giorgio Beverly Hills is a rich oriental and mature fragrance, featuring top notes that include jasmine, plum and quince, while its middle notes feature rose, oud and cedar wood, complemented by base notes of amber, vanilla and cashmere woods. Draped in golden shimmer, Giorgio Gold emanates a daring, irresistible style capturing all that is treasured and scarce while remaining timeless.
Giorgio Glam is a young, fun and flirty floral fragrance featuring top notes of cyclamen flower, magnolia and peony. At the heart is a fresh burst of iris, jasmine, plum, while the base notes include amber and sandalwood. Giorgio Glam fuses the white florals of the classic Giorgio Beverly Hills fragrance and blends in today’s contemporary style and glamour. Indulgent, charming and sophisticated sums up this fragrance, with its floral woody bouquet, draped in confidence.

I can be bribed with chocolate and will never admit to having too much makeup – although, I probably do.
