Love My Body Creations Breastfeeding Range - By Megan Kelly

Maternity Wear: The Essentials

maternity essentials - By Megan KellyI remember that with my first pregnancy, I was so eager to start wearing maternity clothes because it made my pregnancy feel more real (well, to me, anyway) but very quickly I noticed that there weren’t very many maternity ranges that offered clothes that were versatile enough that you could still get good use beyond birth, and that very few maternity ranges went past the traditional sizing of Large or X-Large.

When I first started putting together The Mom’s Guide, I stumbled upon Love My Body Creations and stalked them for a long while before reaching out to the owner, Stacey. Love My Body Creations is a locally owned company (yay for local!), who not only offers an extensive maternity range but also offer shapely wear for women of all sizes. Their range is size-inclusive, while still offering clothes that are modern and expertly made. Stacey’s energy and motivation to make all women feel beautiful in her clothes is infectious and her dedication to offering a range that appeals to all is phenomenal.

I have been fortunate enough to spend a better part of my pregnancy kitted out in the latest product offering from Love My Body Creations and while I am so used to throwing something in the wash and getting it back half the size, I can say that without a doubt, Love My Body Creations offers good quality clothing. Their designs are flattering, the materials used are iultra-comfy and they offer such a diverse range, that there truly is something for everyone.

So you’re probably wondering well, that’s all great but do we really need to buy an entire wardrobe to only wear the clothes for about 3-6 months. That’s why I love Love My Body Creations! A large portion of their clothes is designed with longevity in mind, a lot of their maternity tops are great for breastfeeding too and they include several one-size items, which can be worn before, during and after pregnancy! Best of all, Stacey also offers the service to make adjustments on your clothing, after pregnancy. I believe this is just another indication of Stacey’s commitment to making her range appeal to all – and quite honestly, I absolutely adore it!

Love My Body Creations offers a range that includes everything from the maternity essentials like stretchy leggings and camis, to must-haves like kimonos, maxi-dresses and even special occasion wear.

While I am no fashion blogger, I will be sharing some of my favourite pieces from Love My Body Creations, and how I wear them, so be sure to follow me on Instagram. I’d love to know, what are your must-have pieces when it comes to maternity wear?
