What does your fragrance say about you - By Megan Kelly

Perfumes have been a long time favourite gift for special occasions like Valentine’s Day, from your significant other, but have you ever wondered what your fragrance says about you? From musky and floral, to fruity and sweet, there’s a scent that matches your personality.

Fresh and Pretty Florals

Floral accents are still one of the most popular choices for women who like to show their feminine side by spritzing on a little perfume. The scents are soft, dainty and match the warm and caring personality of this down-to-earth woman.

Fun and Flirty Fruits

Sweet and fruity accents are another favourite pick, for youthful and sociable women who are confident go-getters, sweet, and love making new friends. This perfume is worn by the girl who has a quirky sense of humor, is full of life and brightens up the room. Fruity scents are like a fresh spritz of a summer day and have an uplifting effect on yours and, everyone around you’s, mood.

Fresh and Confident Citruses

Yes, citrus is derived from a fruit, but citrus scents are popular for the zestiness (and not the sweetness) that they bring to perfumes. Unlike the abovementioned sweet and fruity scent which is more of a youthful fragrance, this scent is usually worn by the woman who likes to have a handle on life, everything around her is clean and crisp, well thought out and often streamlined to ensure that she can get to the heart of things quickly.

Sultry Musks

Musky and oriental blends are usually warm and seductive scents and are worn by the type of woman who is intense, bold and isn’t afraid to tap into her more sensual side and has an exotic aura about her. The intenseness of her chosen fragrance leaves a lasting impression, of the woman who is in control of her own destiny.

#LoveIsOn with Revlon

Revlon Love Is On Fragrance - By Megan Kelly

At the end of last year, I mentioned that one of my favourite fragrance of 2016 was Revlon’s Love Is On. The fragrance embodies the excitement and feeling of attraction and includes a citrusy blend of Italian lemon combined with the intoxicating scent of sweet berries. The brand packaged the fragrance in an appropriate 50ml heart-shaped flacon. While the blend is simple in comparison to others, it is a wearable and feminine perfume that balances sweet and tangy almost creating the picture of “opposites attract”. This Valentine’s Day, Revlon and I have partnered up to give away a #LoveisOn hamper which includes the new Love is On fragrance!

GIVEAWAY!

Revlon wanted to make sure that #LoveisOn for you this Valentine’s Day, and have been so kind to sponsor a stunning beauty and fragrance hamper worth R1000! To enter, all you have to do is follow the instructions in the Rafflecopter below.

(Competition opens on the 8th of February and closes on the 19th of February, winner(s) will be contacted via email and will have 48 hours to claim prize.)
