The forty-fifth week of #365BeautyTips has come to an end and as promised, I have put together a round-up post which puts all the beauty tips, shared this week, in one place. The idea is to share any extra information and answer the questions that you may have asked on my social media posts. Remember that if you want to stay up to date with my 365 days of beauty challenge, then follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
THIS WEEK’S THEME IS…
To kick off the Christmas season, I thought that I’d share some of the cool advent calendars that I have found floating around on the interwebs. To be honest, I have always had all the FOMO when it comes to beauty advent calendars, so discovering this list of beauties and treats came at the best time!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 316
Everybody’s favourite affordable brand has outdone themselves by introducing an advent calendar that’s at the top of everybody’s must-have list. Essence have just launched their 2016 advent calendar that promises 24 full sized beauty products, including everything from an eyeshadow palette, makeup brushes, eyeliners, nail art, lip treats, and much more. For a full list of what’s included, be sure to check out this comprehensive list. The Advent calendar retails for R415 (which works out to be about R17 per product) and are available at Dis-Chem stores, but act quick as these are selling quickly!

Luxury like no other, BABOR have outdone themselves by offering yet another outstanding advent calendar. If you’re looking for a luxury gift, this is for you! The BABOR Advent calendar offers the opportunity to discover a unique BABOR ampoule each day, leading up to Christmas. The calendar itself is beautifully presented and is sure to get you in the Christmas spirit. For a full list of what’s included, be sure to check out Cassidy’s blog post.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 318
LUSHies everywhere have been oogling the 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar. The festive season can leave you feeling a bit frazzled, so why not count down the last few days to Christmas with a variety of treats from LUSH, that will leave you feeling pampered and ready for the festivities. The gift set includes a good collection of LUSH products from bath bombs, bubble bars, soaps, gels and lotions, making this the perfect gift for anyone who loves a little TLC. Want to see what’s inside? The UK site has an awesome list sharing all the delight!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 319
Pamper your skin with the 12 days of Christmas from Elemis which offers an indulgent luxury skincare treat each day. From pro-collagen cleansing balm to nourishing shower creams, there is a trial-sized surprise waiting behind ever cardboard window.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 320
Sadly, this one has already sold out and in record time just like every other year, but that just gives you an excuse to set the alarm now, for next year’s release. The L’Occitane Advent calendar is a ridiculously pampering treat that features everything from shower gels, oils, fizz balls, haircare and of course their outstanding hand creams. With such a gorgeous selection of treats, it isn’t any wonder why this sells out so fast! If you’d like to know what else is included, look here! Remember that you can also get the L’Occitane Christmas Cracker Trio which makes for the perfect gift and stocking stuffer!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 321
I haven’t tried a Benefit product yet, so obviously found the Girl O Clock Rock gift set VERY appealing! Personally, I am more makeup crazy than skincare, and getting a set like this means that I get to try 12 of their best sellers without breaking the bank! Benefit has been hitting it out of the park with amazing product reviews, so I think that putting together sets like these that feature mini-sized versions of their products, just means getting to experience what the brand has to offer before committing to a full-size purchase. For a full list of what’s included (and to make your online purchase) visit Red Square Online.

It wouldn’t be a Christmas Advent list without a little chocolate and I am so excited that Lindt has 2 variants available this year, with the one pictured above, being my absolute favourite. Be sure to check out Woolies for the different Lindt calendars available and stock up on those little Lindt chocolate teddies too!
And that is a wrap on the last 7 days. Whoop-Whoop! Remember that I love any feedback – what have you enjoyed seeing, what would you like to see more of and perhaps if you have any suggestions, questions or products you would like me to chat more about. I really enjoyed the themed days – what themes would you like to see next?
