The forty-third week of #365BeautyTips has come to an end and as promised, I have put together a round-up post which puts all the beauty tips, shared this week, in one place. The idea is to share any extra information and answer the questions that you may have asked on my social media posts. Remember that if you want to stay up to date with my 365 days of beauty challenge, then follow me on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.
THIS WEEK’S THEME IS…
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 302
Wass is a local skincare company based in Cape Town that uses organic & natural ingredients to a range that they call ‘skin food’ inspired by the seasons. Basically, you choose the season based on your skin concerns and you get a range that boasts high quality and organic ingredients that work to restore, replenish and nourish your skin. My favourite product of their summer range is the Wass Body Treatment Oil / Cool comfort which retails for R350 for 100ml. It smells incredibly fresh and just like… uhm… summer! The blend of ingredients make for a refreshing skin treatment that can be used as a massage oil, or can be added to your bath. The ingredients target the healing of scars, rejuvenation, signs of ageing, as well as treat & soothe burns (especially great for those times we fall victim to sunburn as the oil is very soothing)

I’ve never liked CC creams, but Revlon has sure changed my mind with their Age Defying CC cream which cleverly provides broad-spectrum sun protection and is fragrance-free! I love the light to medium coverage, great for Spring/Summer days, especially if you’re wearing makeup everyday and looking for something that looks natural, hydrates, smoothes, covers and brightens skin, while protecting it.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 304
I am horrible at applying moisturizer every day and usually only do so when I remember to do so or more like, when I have noticed my skin drying out. These Vaseline Intensive Care Spray Moisturizers have changed the game and have made daily moisturizing a breeze! The light-weight formula absorbs quickly and easily, the spray is consistent and ensures an even application, most of all, the Spray Moisturizer doesn’t compromise on quality and with just a few days of use, your skin will thank you! These, without a doubt, need to be in your summer essentials bag to stop your skin from drying out after fun days in the pool and sun!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 305
I really didn’t realize how much I’d like this perfume from L’Occitane, but everytime that I use Verveine, I find myself moving in ways so I can get a better sniff. The citrusy blend is great for a summer signature scent and has feminine floral touches of rose, geranium and of course, the citrus features of lemon verbena and lemon tree. Just go to one of their stores and give this a whiff, in fact, a trip to their store is probably one of best smelling things that you can do!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 306
It wouldn’t be a summer essentials list without some suncare. Palmer’s have introduced an Eventone Suncare Range which is perfect for ALL skin tones and skin types. I’m a HUGE fan of all of their products and have no doubt that I’ll love the convenience of the Sheer Spray protection. Both variants (Sheer Spray and lotion) comes in SPF 30 or 50 perfect for the upcoming summer season. The formula combines the moisturizing properties of natural cocoa butter, Shea butter and coconut oil with superior sun protection. You can expect incredible hydration which means you can even skip out on your moisturizer.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 307
The California Tan Maximizer Prep Spray is the answer you’ve been looking for, when trying to achieve richer looking tans. The fresh and fruity scented spray is used before tanning, to prepare the skin by chemically exfoliating and getting rid of dry skin. It also helps your tan develop darker while prolonging the overall tan. The light most is very refreshing, dries quickly and ensures that every tan is a good one! It’s said to maximize both sunless and UV sessions!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 308
Wet n Wild’s 1 Step Gel Wonder has been my go to lately. The formula is quick to dry, lasts well and it even seems to make my nails stronger because they’re not breaking for a change! With a wide variety of shades available and a single step solution, these definitely make it on my summer essentials list! We are seeing so many brands bringing out the 2-step gel nail range but Wet n Wild South Africa have revolutionized the norm and have introduced its first one-step gel-nailpolish. They’re selling for R79.95 and pack a wide range of colors. I have the shades E7222 Missy in Pink and E7311 in Pretty Peas
And that is a wrap on the last 7 days. Whoop-Whoop! Remember that I love any feedback – what have you enjoyed seeing, what would you like to see more of and perhaps if you have any suggestions, questions or products you would like me to chat more about. I really enjoyed the themed days – what themes would you like to see next?
