The twenty-fifth week of #365BeautyTips has come to an end and as promised, I have put together a round-up post which puts all the beauty tips, shared this week, in one place. The idea is to share any extra information and answer the questions that you may have asked on my social media posts. THIS WEEK’S THEME IS… PRODUCTS TO GET WOW BROWS!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 176
I thought that we’d kick brow-week off with a bang! The CATRICE Long Lasting Brow Definer has changed my Brow Game for good, and I’m never going back! The tip is super fine, perfect for filling in your brow and with a light-hand and tiny, quick movements, you can easily create the appearance of fine hairs, so no ‘Sharpie drawn-on brows’. The tip is also flexible to create effortless arches, without any limits. The formula, much like a liquid eyeliner, provides incredible longevity for brows that don’t just simply wipe off. All in all, this is by far one of my favourite recent discoveries, it just gives brows that vavavoom. However, you need a light hand, patience and a little know-how.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 177
This is one of the first products that I recommend getting, whether you’re a beginner or pro in the brow department. I started with the Essence ‘How to Make Brows Wow’ kit which is an affordable option, offering 3 different shades and a highlighter for just below the brow. The powders are pigmented, long lasting but do have fall out, so be sure to do your brows before foundation. In the kit, there is also a mini-tweezer and double-ended brush PLUS a little card that gives you a mini-tutorial on how to use the kit and create brows that wow. Recently, I also discovered a similar kit from Eylure. I love the sleekness of their weighted packaging, which fits easily into a makeup bag for on-the-go. The kit features a brow wax to hold fine hairs in place, a powder to fill in sparse spaces and a highlighter for below the brow bone. The powders are both buttery and quite literally melt upon application

Essence Make Me Brow is your best friend, especially when you’re on the move or have no time for precision. It’s sort of like a mini-mascara with a small wand that grabs your tiny brow hairs to coat it with the brow-fluid to fill in gaps. The formula works like a wax, holding hairs into place while making your brows look thicker and darker. A handy and affordable little gem to have in your makeup bag for the times that you don’t have time.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 179
CATRICE‘s Velvet Brow Powder paired with the Longlasting Brow Definer (the first product featured) is my secret combo to striking brows. This little tube is double ended, with a spoolie on one end to neaten unruly hairs, while the other end has a little push dispenser with a soft tip. Similar to eyeshadow pens, this gives you just enough product for your eyebrows, allowing for better control. This is another product that is perfect for beginners, or your handbag. It’s easy to use and fills the brows making them look thicker and fuller.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 180
Despite all the fancy products on the market – never underestimate an old-school brow pencil. A light hand can create flawless arches and dramatic brows. I prefer the one on the left, as the pencil is softer and blends better, for that faded out look. The pencil on the right is firmer, creating more detail in the fine hairs that you’re trying to create. Either way, Eylure has you covered with a range of products that is so extensive, you’re bound to found one that works for you!
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 181
The last two products are for taming and holding brows into place. I don’t often use these sorts of products unless I’m wearing makeup for a long period of time, but for am everyday look – I’m okay with the unruliness of my brow hairs. CATRICE Brow Wax is gorgeously packaged and applies smoothly, leaving brows looking sleek. Eylure eyebrow wax pencil is a thicker formula and holds longer (think water resistant brows!). Both are equally great for different reasons.
#365BEAUTYTIPS – DAY: 182
As an alternative to the previous brow wax, you could always use brow gel. Essence’s Brow Gel is wonderful (probably because it is so affordable and gets the job done) the medium sized spoolie grabs onto brow hairs, brushes them into place and holds them neatly. I also own Dior’s version of the same product but found it underwhelming and for the price, I’d expect it to draw on my brows for me. The only thing I do like, is that Dior’s wand is plastic, so the bristles do a good job of clinging to tiny hairs. If you’re looking for a more natural look, these are for you but if you’re looking for something that will hold through rain and sunshine (or humidity), the eyebrow wax would be a better fit!
And that is a wrap on the last 7 days. Whoop-Whoop! Remember that I love any feedback – what have you enjoyed seeing, what would you like to see more of and perhaps if you have any suggestions, questions or products you would like me to chat more about. I really enjoyed the themed days – what themes would you like to see next?
