Morgan Taylor Rocky Horror Picture Show - By Megan Kelly

[CLOSED] Morgan Taylor’s Rocky Horror Picture Show Limited Edition Set

The rad team at Zando heard about my tiny (read “obnoxiously bad”) beauty addiction and sent over the newest limited edition collection from Morgan Taylor. In general, I am a sucker for all things beauty but I am especially excited about this set, as Morgan Taylor released the collection to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the greatest cult film, and longest running theatrical release of all time… The Rocky Horror Picture Show. (If you read that and immediately start singing, “It’s just a step to the left…” we would make BFFs!)

A few months ago, I was treated to an exquisite pedi, where I was first introduced to Morgan Taylor’s nail polishes, I noticed how the polish just seemed to look better on my nails – it was pigmented but without the unflattering thick layer of polish, which I am so used to seeing. Morgan Taylor went on to prove that their formula is impressively long lasting and had to be removed because it had grown out instead of the chipping off, like usual.Morgan Taylor Rocky Horror Picture Show - By Megan Kelly

Initially, I had put down my out of character nail experience to the fact that the lovely team at my spa had done my nails and obviously they can do it better than me, so when I received my Morgan Taylor set from Zando, I was half expecting it to be just like any other nail polish – right?

Morgan Taylor understands nail polish and has developed a formula that is so vibrantly beautiful, applies like velvet and lasts like paint really should! As a mom, who changes nappies, does the dishes, cooking, taps my finger on the keyboard (for far too long, I might add), opens her own can of Redbull and does all the other motherly, work-at-home, wife duties, I am so used to my nail polish lasting an hour or two, at most. I never expect much and have just figured that’s how all nail polishes are, but Morgan Taylor went over and beyond in proving otherwise and won my heart over with a fast-drying formula that doesn’t become sticky, or apply too thickly, yet still delivers non-streaky, gorgeously bright nails.

The Rocky Horror Picture Show is a must for any movie lover and is every bit worth the celebration. I believe Morgan Taylor did an excellent job of putting together an appropriate range of colours that symbolise the movie. If you were born yesterday and don’t know anything about The Rocky Horror Picture Show, or just want a little giggle – here’s a quick reenactment of the movie by bunnies. I feel they capture the film, oh-so-well!

It’s time to start glowing in an-tic-i-pation for Morgan Taylor’s Collection which celebrating the 40th anniversary of  The Rocky Horror Picture Show. The kit features 3 of the brand’s best sellers; All White Now, Little Black Dress and Pretty Woman. The collection wouldn’t be complete without a little… pleasure, so they added a glow-in-the-dark top coat for the electrifying floorshow finish of any look. I really like these mini-kits from Morgan Taylor because I get to try a little bit of everything and finish the bottle before the polish thickens. You can purchase Morgan Taylor nail polishes directly from Zando with mini kits retailing at R249.
